Naked man steals truck, drives into ditch
A man has been arrested in Alabama for stealing a truck while naked and driving it into a ditch. The naked truck-stealing incident occurred last Thursday in Athens, Alabama, when the naked man lay down beside the road. He then jumped into the back of a truck that slowed down, broke the window to the cab - causing the driver to get out of the vehicle - and then drove off.
Police say the man was shouting ‘Go, go, go - somebody’s trying to kill me’ before he stole the truck.
He got about a mile down the road before veering off into a field and hitting a ditch.
‘He appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic,’ Chief Investigator Stanley McNatt told the News Courier newspaper.
He was taken to a local hospital for observation, and is expected to be charged with first-degree theft of property and indecent exposure.
